Most of the leaves have fallen here, but the sky is still beautiful. Now the understory plants get their days in the sun before the cold really sets in.

Already? Are you very high up? This is a foretaste of what’s to come for us in a couple of months time.
Yup! I’m in Northern Minnesota kind of close to Canada. The southern part of the state is just hitting peak fall colors. It does seem early for it though. I know I wasn’t quite ready.
